I am a veteran researcher, game designer, educator and activist willing to share my expertise and know-how with you.

My vision is to help creatives, educators, and activists adapt and learn how new technologies, data sources and field trends can improve their core mission in a way that makes their work more supportive and sustaining for themselves, their employees and clients.

Jargon aside I’m a passionate and experienced researcher, activist, gamer, father and educator. Let me help you with you with whatever problems you may be having in the tech, data, research or strategy spaces.

On the personal side I am a father or two who enjoys spending time with my family playing games, watching movies and learning about the world. I have a doctorate in sociology from UC Irvine and masters degrees in sociology and human development from UCI and the University of Chicago respectively.

I am also one of the co-founders and co-owners of Posthuman Studios, an award-winning collectively run games publisher. In my free time I run way too many tabletop games and spend a lot of time chasing my children, dog and four cats around the house.
